ASA Term 2 Soccer & Basketball Programme 2020

New term starting in January!

In the new year on 6th January 2020, our regular programme will resume and don't miss out on signing up into one of our classes. In this term, we are offering more time-slots for everyone to join on Wednesday and Thursday. If you've found any difficulties on choosing classes, please don't hesitate to reach us for more information by email or give us a call!

2019 ASA Christmas Camp

Merry Christmas!!

All ASA coaches will fire up the Christmas with lots of fun, happiness and sweat to all students! The main focus of our Camps is to bring joy and fun to each class with the exciting yet not easily tiring group games for everyone to learn new skills. The entertaining atmosphere will enhance the level of absorption from all students so that they will improve and perform better and better.    

 

Coaches will have special exercises, drills and fun mini-games prepared at the Christmas Camps for all Soccer and Basketball stars which will be divided into different age groups. 

Soccer Easter Camps

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!!

 

All ASA coaches are ready to fill the Easter Camps with health and happiness and deliver to all students! The main focus of our Camps is to bring joy and fun to each class with the exciting yet not easily tiring group games for everyone to learn new skills. The entertaining atmosphere will enhance the level of absorption from all students so that they will improve and perform better and better.

 

Soccer Easter Camps will be hosted at Happy Valley Sports Ground, with the children divided into 4 different age groups. Coaches will have special drills prepared for our little Soccer bunnies!

 

Come and join us to have fun while revisiting topics taught throughout the term.

Chinese New Year Camp

Let's stay active on approaching Chinese New Year!! Introducing our new Futsal programme during CNY camp to allow the current and new students to experience a faster, more technical game-play with 5 players on each side.

 

Along with that, our Soccer Camp will be held at Happy Valley offering 4 mornings in the row. Come and join us to have fun while revisiting topics taught throughout the term.

Girls Only - Soccer Class

Introducing our new GIRLS ONLY Soccer class, aged from 8 to 12 years old. Both girls and boys should get an equal opportunity to stay active.
Soccer, a team sport consisting of high level of physicality which will provide a boost of positivity in confidence to young females at the same time to develop and improve on life skills, motivation, schoolwork and careers.

2017 ASA Winter Basketball Tournament Photos

Thank you to all who attended and participated in this years' Winter Basketball Tournament. A special thank you to our sponsor Aquarius.

 

The event was truly a fantastic atmosphere, the spectators provided several loud cheers supporting the brilliant basketball skills on display! The coaches were proud to see the players' hard work in their ASA class pay off. The first time competitors gained valuable experience while the more seasoned players were able to build on their skills and become leaders of their team.

 

Thank you all for the continued support of Adventure Sports Academy we look forward to next tournament and to seeing everybody back at class. Please stay tuned as the tournament video will be ready very soon!

ASA Graduate, Coach Lucas

In the second edition in the ASA Graduates series, Coach Travis was able to catch up with Coach Lucas, who is now currently playing professional football in Malaysia for PKNP F.C. Coach Lucas shared his experiences of playing football around the world and about his time coaching for ASA.

Summer Fruits for Children

Ms Claudia Cheng, ASA’s nutrition and dietetic specialist, has written her newest article and it is here just in time to help you prepare for summer as it breaks down which summer fruits can benefit your child as an after-class snack!  The article highlights the different summer fruits and which vitamins and minerals they contain that will help your child refuel and develop.

The Influence of Youth Sports on Future Career Success

ASA is excited to reveal Dillon, our intern from Harvard College, has written his second article for us explaining how participating in youth sports directly impact and improve certain “soft skills” such as respect, trust, confidence, leadership and communication that are crucial for future career success, especially for those that are striving to be business executives, doctors, lawyers or any other types of leaders.

ASA @ AKS Shanghai Cup Video

The video from our recent trip to Shanghai to compete in the AKS Shanghai Cup 2017 is now on our YouTube channel!!!

 

It was ASA's first international tournament and it was truly a great experience. There will be much more to come and we can't wait for the next one!

ASA Graduate, Coach Jack Sealy

Last year Coach Jack Sealy took a leave of absence from ASA to play soccer in the Chinese Super League for Changchun Yatai. Coach Travis recently was able to sit down and catch up with Coach Jack to talk about his experiences and insights of his professional career and his thoughts about playing in Changchun.
